Today we watched a movie on people who were becoming doctors and in medical school and basically what they have gone through. It is called Doctor's Diaries. I was immediately reminded of the show Scrubs. Anyways, we watched it to show us how people have been throughout their careers. They have been through a lot. From studying their asses off, to marriage, to their jobs. It made me think about being older. Obviously you do not have to do what they did, but i feel that you eventually have to live for others.
It seems you have to do your part in life and make other lives easier. With marriage, you have to make sure that you are always there for your mate and they are the same to you (more complex then that). If you decide to have kids, then you throw your life away and have to fully take care of them. I hate to sound harsh, but you have to take care of them. I can not put it into a couple of paragraphs what life can be like, but observing, not only these people, but everyone and their experiences, has really made me realize that it can be really difficult and depressing.
Another thing I saw was when a very aged man who was being treated had to be put to rest. He basically wanted to just die already because he felt he had nothing else to live for. His wife had passed away and so did his best friend, if I am not mistaken. That really made me think because, it was sort of frightening to see someone who I expected to be very wise and would want to offer his knowledge to just think that way. I guess it is mostly how you take and handle the things life throws at you. Anyways, if I got you sort of down then i am sorry, but i will suggest a very funny comedian called Luis C.K. Just type his name in youtube and click on one of his stand ups. He has a very hilarious perspective on life and hopefully it will get you up and laughing.

  1. yea, i like the fact the Tom (the dude with the tats and long hair. lookin like a rocker) accomplished his goals while remaining true to his self. his credentials showed that he was very well capable of doing his job. he remained true to himself because he didnt change his appearance, which would make him umcomfortable. i've had many conversation with different pple and they always say if you wanna make it in America you better change the way you act and look. Tom is a great example of what i say to them. "no matter what you look like, if you know how to get the job done right. it shouldnt be a problem about whoevers appearance"
